Dr. Ghosh has an interdisciplinary teaching and research experience, encompassing the fields of Veterinary and Medical Virology, Molecular Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases, and Zoonosis/One-Health. Dr. Ghosh joined RUSVM as an assistant professor in 2014, and was promoted to associate professor in 2015.  Before joining RUSVM, he worked as a lecturer at Sapporo Medical University (Japan).
