Mission

The mission of RUSVM's Postgraduate program is to offer research and professional continuing education training through its Master of Science (MSc) and Doctoral (PhD) degree programs. Our focus is in the areas of Public Health, Global Animal Health, Tropical Animal Health, Conservation Medicine and other related research areas supported by RUSVM and its partner institutions to veterinarians, life science students and public health, livestock health and conservation science professionals.

Both research and course-based Master of Science degrees are offered. The Masters of Science by Research degree program is most likely to benefit applicants going on to pursue a Doctoral degree. In many research areas tuition benefit and research support is available. The Master’s of Science by Coursework in One Health consists of one year of full-time study with a required research project and thesis, and is similar to programs offered in the USA and Canada.
