Dr. Azevedo, originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, studied Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Federal Fluminense, graduating in 2015, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at the same institution, which he completed in 2018. He later specialized in Small Animal Neurology at Faculdade Anclivepa and Feline Medicine at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, where he also earned a master’s degree in Veterinary Science in 2023.

Dr. Azevedo has extensive experience as a small animal clinician specializing in neurology and has served as a guest lecturer and locum professor in both undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary courses. He now holds a full-time position as Assistant Professor and Course Coordinator of Veterinary Physiology I at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where he continues to combine his clinical expertise with his passion for teaching and research.
