Dr. Hélène Lardé received her degree in veterinary medicine in 2009 in France (École National Vétérinaire d’Alfort). She then moved to the Québec province of Canada for an internship in medicine and surgery of farm animals, followed by a residency in large animal surgery. She stayed in Canada until 2021, where she practiced as a clinician at the teaching hospital of the faculty of veterinary medicine (Université de Montréal). She completed a master’s in clinical sciences on bovine arthroscopy, and a PhD in epidemiology on antimicrobial usage in Québec dairy farms.
