I got my first job in a small animal practice in 2005 which ignited my passion for animal health leading me to pursue multiple degrees and certifications. I graduated from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in 2012 with a B.Sc in Animal Science and a minor in Endocrine Physiology and Health Sciences. While at Rutgers I spent 4 years working on their production and research farm, mostly with goats, sheep, and pigs. After graduating I managed multiple mixed animal and exotic Veterinary hospitals across New Jersey and acquired my Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) and Laboratory Animal Technician (LAT) certifications. I joined Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 with the desire to share my animal nursing skills to help shape future Veterinarians. While at RUSVM I have worked in the Animal Resources, Anesthesia, and Large Animal Surgery departments teaching students how to strengthen the human animal bond.
