Margaret Cherebin is a lab technician in the Clinical Skills Lab in the Clinical Sciences Department. Originally from the island of Grenada, she moved to St. Kitts in 2018 and joined Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in September of 2019.
She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science (Cum Laude) from the St. George’s University School of Medicine, in Grenada.
As a lab technician in the Clinical Skills Lab, she has incorporated her prior work experience as a science teacher into student instruction for Essential Veterinary Skills, assisting in teaching surgical skills and Applied Surgical Techniques. In this role, model creation and maintenance, an integral part of both surgical and medical skills, are part of her semesterly duties.
Margaret aspires to uphold Ross’ TEACH values and endeavors to incorporate them into her work life. She believes that taking accountability and acting with integrity is of utmost importance to assist in collaborating with and serving others at Ross and the wider community.
She hopes to further her education in the field of veterinary medicine and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician through Penn Foster.
Passionate about the performing arts, Margaret has participated in several stage productions, including drama, singing and dance. She is currently a member of the LEAP SKN Dance Company.
