Stuart Anton Hassall joined Ross University in October 2023 as an Essential Veterinary Skills facilitator. He brings a wealth of experience from his background in farming, agriculture, and performance horses, having worked alongside veterinarians for over 25 years.
A former auctioneer, Stuart's interest in communication skills developed from his time training young auctioneers. This passion now drives his role at Ross University, where he focuses on coaching communication labs for veterinary students. He finds this work incredibly rewarding and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring to further his expertise in this area.
Stuart is also deeply committed to professionalism, a significant part of his role at Ross. This interest has led him to pursue a Master's by research focusing on veterinary Professionalism. He serves as the course coordinator for the Personal and Professional Development course for first-semester students, another area he finds highly engaging.
Beyond his academic and professional roles, Stuart is a qualified Personal Trainer and Sports Coach. He demonstrates his dedication to making a difference by running a weekly free fitness class for students.
Stuart is exceptionally student-focused, consistently demonstrating a strong willingness to help and support students whenever he can.
