Have DVM, Will Travel | Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine

Jan 26, 2017

Until recently, Ross alum Eleanor Acworth, DVM had no physical headquarters for her practice. Rather, she traveled around the Hudson Valley area in New York as a mobile veterinarian making house calls. Her clients are diverse—ranging from farmers, breeders, animal rescue sites, and private pet owners to anyone that has limited ability to travel for veterinary appointments. As such, she treats a wide variety of patients, including guinea pigs, horses, dogs, goats and alpacas—reflected in the name of her practice, “All Animal Veterinary Services.”

As of October 2016, however, Dr. Acworth has added office visits to her repertoire as well. Her new practice location in Modena, New York offers regular office hours five days a week, plus evening hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
