This spring break, you can go to the beach… OR you can come to St. Kitts, where you can go the beach and get a glimpse of pursuing your dream career at Ross Vet.
We’re excited to offer you the opportunity this March 16-18, 2020 to come visit our campus in St. Kitts. Over three days (and longer, if you’d like) you’ll get to experience the beautiful island and see for yourself what it’s like to live and learn as a Rossie. Your experience will include:
- Campus and island tours
- Sit-ins during labs and classes
- Hands-on animal experiences
- Meeting faculty, staff, and students
- And more!
Not to mention, we’ll:
- Pay for transportation to and from all sponsored events on island
- Provide free meals during all scheduled events
- Arrange opportunities to chat 1-1 with current students and faculty

Visitors will have the option to stay the rest of the week on their own. We will provide suggestions of things to do if you decide to stay longer.
We have arranged for a block of rooms at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel and the St. Kitts Marriott Resort. The rooms are on a first-come, first-serve basis with the special discount rate. We recommend booking your room at the same time you book your flights.
After registering, we will email you the discount link to book your room(s).
There are numerous flights that connect through various cities in the US and then onto St. Kitts (airport code SKB.) American Airlines offers daily flights to and from St. Kitts with connecting flights in Miami. Other major airlines have flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays from several cities within North America.

Please alert us to your flight’s arrival by emailing your itinerary to [email protected]. Ross Vet staff will pick you up at the airport and transport you to the hotel. Should you need a separate taxi, the fare is roughly $18 USD plus minor fees for baggage and extra passengers. Many taxis only accept cash, so we recommend having cash on-hand.

Yes, all guests are responsible for arranging and paying for their own flight(s) to and from St. Kitts, and their hotel accommodations.
Ross Vet will provide transportation to and from all sponsored events on island and free meals during scheduled events.
Yes, you will need a valid passport to enter the country.
The currency in St. Kitts is the East Caribbean Dollar (ECU) but most restaurants, stores, and taxis accept US currency. The current exchange rate is approximately $1 USD = $2.70 ECU.
St. Kitts is an English-speaking country.
Yes! You can bring up to two guests with you. The guests will be allowed to accompany you throughout the event, but they will not be able to participate in any hands-on activities while on campus, such as in the Skills Lab.
You are, of course, welcome to visit St. Kitts for as long as you’d like. There are a lot of things to see and do on the island.
