We can’t wait to celebrate you and your achievements! As you approach your veterinary school graduation, you will undoubtedly have many questions. We are dedicated to assisting you in planning for the culmination of your RUSVM experience—becoming a veterinarian. We look forward to welcoming you to the alumni family!

You’ve come a long way, and you should be proud of what you are about to accomplish!

GRADUATION

RUSVM’s graduation, not to be confused with the commencement ceremony, can occur during any of RUSVM’s three trimesters.

Vet school graduation entails applying for your degree, completing your degree audit, getting your degree conferred, and receiving your DVM—officially making you a veterinarian. Before we can confer your degree, there are some steps you will need to take.

Commencement is a momentous occasion. Held every year in May, the RUSVM community celebrates student success and accomplishment. RUSVM administrators, faculty, and staff, as well as graduates’ friends and family members, gather together to recognize the current class of graduates.
