November 3-8, 2018 in St. Kitts, West Indies

RUSVM is proud to host the upcoming Annual West Indies Veterinary Conference (WIVC) once again in 2018, and we look forward to you joining us here on the beautiful island of St. Kitts!

RUSVM and the WIVC2018 Organizing Committee are delighted to announce that this year's keynote speaker will be Dr. Paul Lunn, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University.

The conference is a 4-day program of continuing education. In 2018, the program will include topics such as oncology, dermatology (large and small animal), ophthalmology, equine medicine and surgery, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, veterinary medicine & the law, veterinary business and management and more. Hands-on wet labs will also be available.

The program is open to veterinary professionals from all specialties, RUSVM alumni, and veterinary technicians. In the past, the conference has hosted hundreds of attendees from all over the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, UK and St. Kitts.

Your learning doesn’t have to stop with the CE sessions—the conference also gives you an opportunity to explore the rich culture of St. Kitts (and its sister island, Nevis) either on your own or at one of the scheduled social events, including experiential wellness sessions.

In 2018, the West Indies Veterinary Conference will be directly followed by the 3rd annual World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association conference and biosecurity workshop (November 8th-12th).

I thoroughly enjoyed the conference, from the variety of topics offered to the numerous social activities. It was a great experience. I am looking forward to making it a tradition.

– Dr. Diana M. Gonzalez, Regional Consulting Veterinarian with Elanco Animal Health and 2017 WIVC attendee

WIVC is the perfect blend for quality CE, alumni reunion/gatherings, and enjoying St. Kitts island life.

– Dr. Leo Becker, Ross Grad (2014) and 2016 WIVC attendee

An overall excellent experience with relevant CE and plenty of time left over to relax.
