Alumni Panel: Diversifying the Veterinary Workforce
April 21, 2021 | 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM EDT
Veterinary medicine remains one of the least diverse professions in the U.S. As part of our partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, we invite you to join our upcoming live discussion, where we will address important topics within the context of expanding access to the veterinary profession, including recruitment initiatives, resources, mentorship, and more. Our alumni panel will also share their personal experiences as they walk through their individual journeys towards the veterinary profession.
This is your opportunity to:
- Hear firsthand from our alumni about their unique journeys towards careers in veterinary medicine, including their vet school experience and transitioning into the workforce.
- Learn about emerging programs and initiatives aimed to expand diversity within the profession such as the USDA Pathways Program: Adel A. Malak Scholarship.
- Discover the resources available at Ross Vet for racially and/or ethnically underrepresented students, including scholarships, networking, academic success academic advising, and more.
There will be plenty of time during this event for a live Q&A with our panel. Save your seat by registering below!
