Admissions Requirements
Admission for the Certificate in One Health is open to candidates with a veterinary or medical qualification, or a degree or international equivalent in the biological, biomedical, environmental, or ecological sciences. A successful candidate should demonstrate a sustained interest in One Health, public health, and/or research.
A high level of English proficiency is required due to the intensive nature of the program. Applicants whose native language is not English will be asked to provide evidence of proficiency through test scores and/or educational or professional experience in the medium of English.
APPLICATION PROCESS
The Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine Postgraduate Admissions Committee reviews Certificate in One Health applications throughout the year, accepting students for each January start.
Candidates may submit an application through the Ross Vet Postgraduate Application portal below.
Applicants will be asked to submit the following materials:
- Personal statement (300 words or less) of reasons for wishing to join the Certificate in One Health program
- Official transcripts if degree was completed less than 5 years ago
- Proof of graduation if degree was completed more than 5 years ago
- 1 letter of recommendation
Applicants that fulfill the minimum entry requirements will be asked to attend an interview by Skype ™, video conference, or teleconference. Once all materials have been reviewed and verified, and interviews completed, the applicants will receive an unconditional offer of admission, which they must accept in order to enroll.
