Graduate Certificate in One Health Curriculum

AN ONLINE-BASED CURRICULUM DESIGNED TO ENHANCE CAREERS IN A BROAD RANGE OF ENVIRONMENTS.

The Graduate Certificate in One Health curriculum for veterinary professionals consists of 13 credits of the same courses that make up the MSc by Coursework in One Health curriculum. All coursework is offered exclusively online, with no mandatory login times, and can be completed from any location.

ONE HEALTH SYSTEMS APPROACH

The online-based curriculum is designed for distance learning to provide working knowledge of One Health concepts that can be used to enhance careers in a broad range of veterinary environments. Through our online learning portal, you will develop intellectual skills in scientific assessment as well as practical skills in communication, organization, and scientific writing throughout your coursework.

Upon successful completion of the online learning program, you will have gained the skills and knowledge to be a confident advocate of the One Health systems approach in your field of veterinary work.

COURSE DELIVERY

The Graduate Certificate in One Health curriculum is delivered 100% online via Ross Vet’s Virtual Learning Portal and is designed exclusively for distance learning.

Assignments may include essays, critical review of peer-reviewed articles, online tests and quizzes, blog writing, research proposal writing, research journal development, projects, group discussions, and social media interactions. Modules are delivered primarily by Ross Vet faculty, although specialist modules may be delivered by partner institutions.

The One Health teaching approach focuses on integration of diverse student backgrounds and skill sets. You also will be encouraged to draw from your individual specializations to complete course assignments, discussions, and projects. You will also be provided the opportunity to sharpen your leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through group projects.
