CREDIT EXTENSION PROGRAM
Eligible students who have exhausted all other financial aid options may be considered for the institutional credit extension program. The Office of Student Finance will identify and contact students, who may be eligible, to discuss next steps.
Eligibility
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25.
- Exhausted all alternative internal and external financial aid options.
- Documentation of financial hardship, contribution towards remaining program cost, and private loan lender denial (with co-signer).
Selection and Award Amounts
- Potentially eligible students are identified and contacted by the student finance team to discuss next steps. Student applications and documentation are reviewed by the financial aid director to confirm eligibility and award amount. Approved students are notified by their student finance advisor.
- Award amounts are determined by identifying the student’s estimated remaining program cost, including any outstanding balances, and subtracting any remaining financial aid, including grants, loans, and scholarships.
Terms
- Only covers tuition and fees, student is responsible for all other educational expenses.
- Must commit to making in-school monthly payments of $100 while enrolled in the M.D. program and $300 monthly while in residency.

STUDENT LOAN CODE OF CONDUCT
Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine observes the federal regulations regarding student loan requirements.
Code of Conduct agreements were designed to create and ensure uniform student loan practices that focus on the best interest of borrowers. In these documents, restrictions are defined to manage the relationships among school employees, learning institutions, lender advisory board members, and student loan organizations. Students are encouraged to review the Code of Conduct agreements to learn more about the requirements governing loan regulations.
