Veterinary School — STUDENT EXPERIENCE
Knowing that Ross Vet is located in the Caribbean was a huge positive for me. I could not wait to get out of the cold and have summer all year round (versus other vet schools-Canada in particular). My favorite thing about the island is being able to experience a different culture. My friend and I participated in Carnival this past December and January. We bought costumes and marched in the parade. It’s something you don’t get to do anywhere else. I love St. Kitts!
The 28 months you spend here will likely be one of the most intense but unforgettable experiences of your life, made even more so by the extraordinary and exotic environment of St. Kitts. You’ll have the chance to face the day-to-day challenges that are culturally unique to the area while improving your hands-on skills with a variety of animals and wildlife—allowing you to become an adaptable and compassionate veterinarian who will be ready to face the professional world. Here, you can discover your sense of adventure. It’s time to explore.
Explore the island and campus without leaving the comfort of your home. Learn about on-campus dining, student life, on-campus housing, high-tech classrooms, and research labs.
