The management of the postgraduate veterinary science programs and their regulation are structured according to the frameworks set by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (United Kingdom).
POSTGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS IN VETERINARY SCIENCE
Ross Vet offers research and professional continuing education training through its Master of Science (MSc) and Doctoral (PhD) degree programs. Our focus in in the areas of One Health and other related research areas supported by Ross Vet and its partner institutions.
Master of Science by Coursework in One Health (MSc in One Health)
The MSc in One Health degree program is completed though 100% online coursework within a maximum of 3 years of part-time study. This course-based program equips students from a variety of fields—including those working in human medicine, veterinary medicine, public health, research, education, and more—with an in-depth understanding of One Health.

Master of Science by Research (MSc by Research)
The MSc by Research degree program is based on supervised research over a period of one year full-time, or a maximum of 2 years part-time. Research may be carried out remotely with regular check-ins with supervisory faculty, or on the Ross Vet campus through residency in St. Kitts.
Through the MSc by Research program, you will have the opportunity to:
- Access Ross Vet’s four research centers and global partners
- Focus on an area of interest, such as food safety, vector borne diseases, zoonotic infections, conservation, and more
- Explore the unique location in the Caribbean featuring exotic marine and wildlife
PhD by Research
The PhD by Research degree program is based on supervised research over a period of three years full-time. Students will have the opportunity to pursue original research in the field of postgraduate veterinary medicine on a topic of their interest, such as food safety, vector borne illnesses, zoonotic infections, conservation, and more.
To complete this program, students will need to submit a doctoral dissertation in the field of their study. Research may be conducted through residency on St. Kitts, or remotely with regular check-ins from Ross Vet supervisory faculty.

ROSS VET’S VETERINARY POSTGRADUATE CERTIFICATE
The Certificate in One Health is a veterinary postgraduate certificate program for those wishing to enhance their careers with working knowledge relevant to the broad field of One Health. This fully online, course-based certificate program is well-suited for those working in public health, veterinary medicine, human medicine, environmental/conservation health, biomedical sciences and research, and education.
Certificate in One Health highlights:
