Barbara Jones, DVM MPH DACVPM, is Principle of One Health Consulting, LLC, owner of Equilibrium Veterinary Services, PLLC, and an Adjunct Professor at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine for a Masters of One Health Disaster Management course. She also serves as a Public Health Officer in the Air National Guard and on one of three Air National Guard Homeland Response Force (HRF) Medical Health Risk Assessment Teams.
Dr Jones is an Adjunct Professor at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the Masters of One Health Disaster Management course. The course is designed to address One Health issues throughout the spectrum of Disaster Management and is tailored to veterinarians, animal scientists, medical and biological scientists to foster integration of One Health concepts at operational, tactical and strategic levels on the local, state and Federal stage in all types of response agencies and organizations.
Dr Jones serves on the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine’s Executive Board and on the American Association of Equine Practitioners’ Infectious Disease Committee and Scientific Review and Editorial Committee. She co-edited the textbook Veterinary Infection Prevention and Control.
