Born on March 27, 1982, Romania, Dr. Cristian Dezdrobitu was enrolled as student in 2002 and graduated Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca ROMANIA in 2008 with very good results. After graduation he received a DVM Diploma. After graduation, in the Fall of 2008, Dr. Cristian Dezdrobitu had enrolled in a dual program consisting of a Master program in Veterinary Clinic and Radiology and a PhD program in Normal and Pathological Morphology. He received an MSc degree in Veterinary Clinic and Radiology in 2010 and a PhD degree in Normal and Pathological Morphology in 2012, from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Romania. His PhD Thesis title is: Anatomic and imaging study of the lymphatic vascularization of the mammary gland in the domestic cat. He defended his PhD thesis in 2012 with the score “Very good”.
Since 2008 till 2019 when he joined Ross he was Lecturer and Assistant Professor in the Department of Comparative Anatomy at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
He has an experience of 11 years in teaching Anatomy and he is the first author of 12 publications and the co-author (corresponding or last author for some of them) of 75 publications focused on comparative anatomy. Some of these publications are published as abstracts in ISI journals and the rest are published as full text in BDI/B+ journals. Dr. Cristian Dezdrobitu is also the co-author of the “VETERINARY ANATOMY: OSTEOLOGY-ARTHROLOGY-MYOLOGY”, a manual that was written for the English line students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Romania and co-author of the “Veterinary Anatomy - The Cardio-Circulatory System”, a manual that was written for the English line students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
He has memberships in the Romanian Society of Comparative Anatomy and in the European Association of Veterinary Anatomists.
