- 2011 –2017: Diana embarked on her veterinary education at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland, where she laid the foundation for her career in veterinary medicine.
- 2017 – 2018: Diana's dedication to pathology continued as she took up a teaching assistant position at the pathology department of the School of Veterinary Medicine at Jagiellonian University. During this time, she not only taught pathology to veterinary undergraduate students but also performed post-mortem examinations on domestic species. Additionally, Diana dedicated nine months to completing a certificate-level course in pedagogy at the Centre of Pedagogy and Psychology, Krakow University of Technology.
- 2018 –2019: Diana took a step into small animal veterinary practice, working as a small animal veterinary surgeon at two clinics in Dublin, Ireland. Here, she honed her skills as a general practitioner, primarily caring for small animals.
- 2019 –2022: Seeking specialized expertise, Diana pursued a residency in anatomic pathology at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Over the course of 2.5 years, she performed post-mortem and histological examinations on a wide range of animals, including pet animals, farm animals, avian species, and exotic species. Her time in Cambridge also involved supervising students during their post-mortem rotations. As the residency progressed, Diana sought to enhance her experience by spending the final six months at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Here, she focused on preparing for bord certification and continued to supervise students on their post-mortem rotations. In February 2023 she passed the ECVP exam.
- 2022 –2023: Diana's expertise in veterinary pathology led her to a Veterinary Research Officer position at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, she conducted post-mortem examinations on various farm animal species, handled a busy histology workload, supervised students, and contributed to TSE screening, TB surveillance on badgers and a thin ewe scheme.
- July 2023- present – Assistant professor at RUSVM – pathology.
Throughout her journey, Diana has contributed to the field of veterinary pathology through her peer-reviewed publications, covering a wide range of topics such as somatic mutation rates in mammals, liver lesions in wild European rabbits, gastrointestinal stromal tumors, equine herpesvirus outbreaks, and more.
