Mandy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Lethbridge and a Master of Education from the University of Calgary. She is also a Certified Conflict Coach with the Justice institute of British Columbia. Mandy spent over a decade working as a stage manager, director of development, director of education, and executive director in professional theatre before finding her way into higher education.
Mandy has extensive experience in interpersonal communication, simulation training, and learner assessment. She also coaches communication via the Canadian Olympic Committee.
In 2018 Mandy began working within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary as a Professional Skills Advisor. She is thrilled to have made the move with her family to Saint Kitts and Nevis to join the RUSVM family and looks forward to working with the students to strengthen their communication skills and form their professional identities.
