Dr. Abramo was born in Buffalo, NY and after receiving her DVM from Ross University in 2003, she returned to the area to practice small animal general medicine and surgery. She received her CVA from The Chi Institute in small animal veterinary acupuncture in 2012. She worked full time in New York and Hawaii before moving back to St. Kitts in early 2019.
She has also worked on multiple volunteer veterinary trips with World Vets. Locations include Ecuador, Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, Columbia, Peru, and Belize. In addition, she lived in Costa Rica and worked with The Caribbean Conservation Corporation on a green sea turtle research project.
