Dr. Ghosh has an interdisciplinary teaching and research experience, encompassing the areas of Veterinary Virology, Molecular Epidemiology, Genetic Diversity, Evolution and Interspecies Transmission of Viruses, and One-Health. He is the course coordinator of DVM Virology at RUSVM. Dr. Ghosh has published 117 research and review articles in peer-reviewed international journals (> 3600 citations) and 10 book chapters so far. He serves as the associate editor of Frontiers in Microbiology, review editor of Frontiers in Veterinary Sciences, and in editorial board of Pathogens (MDPI). Dr. Ghosh served in the WHO expert committee on Picobirnaviruses and the International Committee Taxonomy Viruses (ICTV) Picobirnaviridae study group and is a Distinguished Member of World Society for Virology, Fellow of the Indian Virological Society (FIVS), and Member of American Society for Virology. He is a recipient of the Zoetis Award and RUSVM SAVMA award for Veterinary Research Excellence. Because of his contributions to teaching in the veterinary profession, he received twice the CARE award from RUSVM.
