Tarisai Brighton Dzikiti, BVSc, MSc, PhD

Associate Professor, Veterinary Anesthesiology

Dr. Tarisai Brighton Dzikiti joined RUSVM as a lecturer in veterinary anesthesia in May 2017. He received a BVSc degree from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ) in 1997. He obtained a MSc degree in Veterinary Anesthesia from Utrecht University, The Netherlands in 2001. He was a lecturer in veterinary anesthesia at UZ during the years 2001 to 2003, following which he joined the University of Pretoria (UP), where he stayed as a lecturer in veterinary anesthesia until April 2017. He obtained a PhD degree which explored intravenous anesthesia in goats at the University of Pretoria in 2011. He has published various scientific papers; presented at scientific conferences and supervised postgraduate students over the years.
