OUR COMMITMENT TO END THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
As a university dedicated to preparing practice-ready veterinary professionals, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) requires all students be vaccinated against COVID-19. COVID-19 vaccines have been proven safe and effective in preventing the spread of coronavirus and widespread vaccination helps us prioritize the health and safety of our students, colleagues, and community. It also allows us to continue delivering your academic program in-person at our St. Kitts campus. You can read more about our COVID-19 policy and safety measures on our website.
If you believe you meet our policy’s criteria for an accommodation or exemption, send a request to equity@adtalem.com outlining your reasons along with any supporting documentation (e.g., paperwork from a healthcare provider). Requests will be reviewed, and an answer given within 3-5 business days. You still need to log into the RUSVM Safe App and note that you have applied for an exemption or accommodation.
Keep in mind that when making travel arrangements, you may be asked to submit your proof of vaccination to other agencies or entities. The St. Kitts government, for example, requires all international travelers to upload their vaccination record ahead of arrival. These outside organizations are not affiliated with RUSVM and do not share information with us so you must remember to submit your proof of vaccination to RUSVM to be registered at our university.
Our team of advisors is available to answer questions related to our COVID-19 vaccination policy and other pandemic-related safety plans. Contact them at any time to ensure you have everything to successfully begin your semester with RUSVM.
