About Our Host
Dr. Lenore Bacek is currently the Clinical Programs Manager for BluePearl Veterinary Partners. She oversees the innovative EmERge program, an emergency medicine training and mentorship program. Prior to taking over this role in 2019, she was a Clinical Associate Professor and the head of the Auburn University Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care service. She received her DVM from Ross University in 2007, followed by a one-year rotating internship at Louisiana State University. She completed both a residency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care and a master’s degree at Auburn University in 2011. Dr. Bacek is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (2011). Dr. Bacek enjoys teaching and training students, technicians and veterinarians. Her goal is for them to love emergency medicine as much as she does.
Dr. Bacek has been an invited speaker at numerous international, national and regional conferences, including the ACVIM forum, IVECCS and the AVMA conference. She is also currently the Vice President and Chair of the Scientific Committee for the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.
