While primary care veterinarians can treat many health problems, certain conditions require the care of a doctor who has specialized training in heart and vascular problems in animals. Small companion animals make up a large portion of these cases, but veterinary cardiologists often have experience treating a variety of species, from equine, to exotics, and more.

Curious about veterinary cardiology? Watch our on-demand webinar, where Dr. Anne French, veterinary cardiologist and Head of the Clinical Sciences Department at Ross Vet, walks through what it’s like to specialize and work in this field.

Watch this on-demand session for the opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the path towards becoming a veterinary cardiologist, including obtaining internships, residencies, and board certification
  • Review cardio ultrasound images of animal patients
  • Examine real-life cases treated by Dr. French, including pacemaker placement in a variety of species, corrective heart surgery, and more
All fields are required.
