Dr. McNally graduated veterinary school from the UF CVM in 2005. After a rotating internship in emergency medicine and critical care in Massachusetts she returned to UF to do a residency in anesthesia and pain management. She completed her specialty training and became boarded in anesthesia and pain management in 2009. From there she moved to the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts where she lived for three and a half years and taught anesthesia at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon her return to the United States, she moved to Hawaii where she practiced emergency medicine and anesthesia at an emergency and specialty hospital for 7 years.
She returned to the mainland in 2020 to work as the anesthesiologist at an animal imaging facility in the San Francisco Bay area followed by working with a group of veterinary dentists in the San Diego area before returning to St. Kitts in early 2025 to rejoin RUSVM.
