Jan 18, 2018

Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (Ross Vet) 2018 White Coat Ceremony was held on Monday, January 8, with more than 160 new students accepting their white coats and entry into the veterinary profession. This ceremony, we welcomed our keynote speaker alumni Dr. Jonathan Fogle, ’00 Assistant Professor in Immunology at North Carolina State University-College of Veterinary Medicine to provide words of wisdom to our new class.

Dr. Fogle earned his veterinary degree from Ross University in 2000. He completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.

In 2005, he completed a small animal internal medicine residency at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine and he is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. In 2009, he earned his PhD in immunology from NC State and is currently an assistant professor of microbiology and immunology at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and he has an active comparative immunology research laboratory.

Congratulations and a warm welcome to all our new Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) class of 2021!
