RUSVM to Use New Practice Management System

Nov 07, 2022

Provet Cloud, the cloud-based practice management solution from Nordhealth, announced today that Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) will implement Provet Cloud’s practice management software for its small animal clinic and veterinary program.

Used by over 13,000 veterinary professionals around the world, Provet Cloud provides veterinary professionals with the ability to spend more time with their patients, reduce administrative errors oftentimes caused by manual entry, integrate all their digital tools into a single streamlined system, and enhance the customer experience - ensuring better health and clinical outcomes.

RUSVM is the ninth university in the world to adopt Provet Cloud software, giving students first-hand knowledge of a modernized and digitized practice management solution.

“Recognized as an AVMA-accredited veterinary program focused on educating tomorrow’s leaders in the field, RUSVM delivers a culture of connectivity and commitment to integrated One Health research,” said Scott Goodsir-Smyth, VP of Growth US & UK at Nordhealth. “By implementing Provet Cloud, RUSVM will modernize its operation to create a better user experience for students, faculty, and staff leading to overall increased program success. We look forward to partnering as part of RUSVM’s digital transformation.”

RUSVM chose to convert their practice management software to Provet Cloud so that it could be integrated campuswide. Provet Cloud software will be used by over 200 individuals, including students and teaching staff, to give the next generation of veterinarians hands-on experience with integrated technology and teach them how to implement it in future practice.

“We are excited to enhance the student experience and strengthen colleague engagement through Provet Cloud’s software,” said Dr. James Fairs, director of Ross University Veterinary Clinic. “The cloud-based program provides easy, remote access to medical records which allows for more efficient collaboration and improved patient care. Provet Cloud will also provide our students with exposure to a modern medical records platform that they will encounter during clinicals and practice.”
