Dr. Daniel “Danny” Wieser has cultivated an impressive career in animal science and veterinary medicine, marked by international experience and a commitment to both practice and education.
In 2007, while studying at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Wieser completed a Multiple Ovulation and Embryo Transfer (MOET) internship with Genex Cooperative in Shawano, Wisconsin. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota in 2009. Following the internship, he joined Genex as a Breeding Program Specialist, focusing on dairy cattle in southeastern Minnesota until 2010.
Dr. Wieser’s pursuit of advanced veterinary education led him to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine from 2010 to 2012, completing his clinical year at the University of Illinois and earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2013.
After graduation, he spent two years in private practice as a large animal veterinarian in Southland, New Zealand. In 2016, he moved to the United Kingdom, where he became a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) in 2017. For the next seven years, he worked in private practice at Bakewell Veterinary Clinic in Derbyshire, specializing in large animal medicine.
