Dr. Fraser, originally from Grand Haven, Michigan, graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. After completing her studies, she returned to the island to work as an instructor at Ross for a few years. She then moved back to Michigan, where she raised her family and became the owner of a small animal general practice, which she later sold in 2017. Dr. Fraser remained with the practice as medical director until returning to RUSVM in 2023.
Throughout her career, she has enjoyed mentoring both veterinary and veterinary technician students, often hosting rotations at her clinic. From 2016 to 2021, she served on the Baker College Veterinary Technology Advisory Board and contributed to veterinary outreach efforts in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
