Gemiah Mark, RVN
Clinical Sciences
I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse originally from London, UK, with over 8 years of experience in the veterinary field. I graduated in 2017 with a Foundation Degree in Veterinary Nursing, followed by a BSc (Top-up) in Veterinary Nursing from Nottingham Trent University in 2018.
Since qualifying, I’ve worked in a range of clinical and managerial roles, including emergency hospitals, out-of-hours care, surgical nursing and general practice.
I’ve also had the opportunity to work internationally, including in Dubai and the Cayman Islands. It’s always been a dream of mine to use my skills in the Caribbean, especially as my family is originally from the beautiful island of Dominica.
At Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, I support both students and staff in delivering hands-on, compassionate care to our patients. I really enjoy being part of a dynamic team and take pride in helping students grow in confidence and skill throughout their clinical training.
Outside of work, I love exploring St. Kitts, trying new food spots, and roller-skating (or at least attempting to!). I’m always eager to take on new challenges and continue learning—both in and out of work.
