Lucy Taylor is a Registered Veterinary Nurse from the UK and has been our Lead Technician in the RUVC for a year. She qualified in 2018 and later went on to study for an Advanced Certificate in Zoo Animal Nursing and is currently doing an Advanced Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care.
She has worked in various referral hospitals in both small animals and equine, as well as working with exotic animals and doing out-of-hour nursing. She loves teaching and training vet nursing students and has participated in training many final year university students in her previous hospitals, including her time working in the veterinary clinic at the Universität Autonoma de Barcelona.
She has a passion for travel and has participated in many veterinary projects abroad, in various countries within Europe and Africa, as well as Saint Kitts with BARC and the Sea Turtle Monitoring Network.
