VETERINARY SCHOOL FOR CANADIAN APPLICANTS
Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine provides the opportunity for Canadian students from any province/territory to apply to vet school. We can help you be practice-ready and eligible for licensure in Canada, the US, and abroad in as few as 3.25 years with our AVMA-accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree program.
How to Apply
You can apply to Ross Vet two different ways: by using our online Ross Vet Application portal or submitting your application through VMCAS. Applications are accepted throughout the year for all three start dates: January, May, or September.
Canadian applicants who have a MyCreds™ or MesCertif™ account may submit their digital transcripts and other accompanying documents through the MyCreds™/MesCertif™ portal. To do so, select Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine from the 'Recipient' list in your account portal. Alternatively, you may share your credentials using the “Generate a link to my documents” option within the portal. Enter rossvetadmissions@rossu.edu in the “Recipient Email” field on the Document Sharing form in your account.
WHERE YOU WILL STUDY
You will complete your seven-semester preclinical curriculum comprised of classroom learning and early hands-on animal interaction on our St. Kitts campus.
The successful completion of the preclinical curriculum is followed by a three-semester (45 weeks) clinical year at one of our 30 AVMA-accredited affiliate veterinary schools, including the University of Montreal and the University of Saskatchewan. During this time, you will participate with your affiliate school’s students in rotations, while remaining enrolled and graduating from Ross Vet.
