Veterinary School for Canadian Applicants
Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine provides the opportunity for Canadian students from any province/territory to apply to vet school. We can help you be practice-ready and eligible for licensure in Canada, the US, and abroad in as few as 3.25 years with our AVMA-accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree program.
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
The admissions requirements to Ross Vet school for Canadian applicants are similar to those required for U.S. applicants. You’re not just a number to us. We take a holistic view of the admissions process, reviewing not just grades and test scores, but also giving weight to your experience, perseverance, and passion to become a veterinarian.

You will complete your seven-semester preclinical curriculum comprised of classroom learning and early hands-on animal interaction on our St. Kitts campus.
AVMA-Accredited Clinical Affiliate— Semesters 8–10
The successful completion of the preclinical curriculum is followed by a three-semester (45 weeks) clinical year at one of our 30 AVMA-accredited affiliate veterinary schools, including the University of Montreal and the University of Saskatchewan. MEET ROSS VET
Each year, Ross Vet holds events for prospective applicants to learn more about veterinary school for Canadian students, meet our Canadian alumni, and get your questions answered in person.
In addition to our larger events, Ross Vet representatives will frequently visit campuses across Canada to meet with pre-veterinary clubs, give campus presentations, and participate in smaller events to provide an opportunity for prospective veterinarians to learn more about our school. Check back frequently to learn when we will be in your area!
